11. Commandos Strike Force - Oct 4, 2013 3:01:00 PM
Commandos Strike Force isn't particularly successful at telling you a compelling story, either, though it seems to try. The three soldiers have their own distinct personalities, from the wisecracking Lieutenant Hawkins (the sniper) to the slightly aloof Colonel Brown (the spy). But their interactions during between-mission cutscenes often seem disjointed and awkward (not to mention surprisingly filled with profanity for a T-rated game), and the missions themselves aren't always clearly related, so you really aren't drawn in from any of these respects. At least the characters play fairly distinctly. The Green Beret is a pretty generic gunner, the sniper's long-range rifle and throwing knives make him quite different, and the spy is able to take uniforms from dead enemies and infiltrate their ranks--he just needs to watch out for the piercing gaze of high-ranking enemy officers.

12. Max Payne 2 - Oct 4, 2013 2:52:00 PM
You may have noticed that I didn't specify Max when I mentioned all the things you can do in the game. That's because you'll actually get to play Mona Sax, the femme fatale contract killer from the original game who survived a bullet wound to her head and resurfaces early once you start digging around what was going on in that warehouse. Playing her is almost the same experience, except she has a Dragunov sniper rifle she'll be putting to heavy use about midway through the game. I don't want to give too much away, but it was probably the most tense and exciting segment in the game..

13. Star Wars Republic Commando - Oct 4, 2013 2:44:00 PM

The game uses Epic Games' Unreal Engine.[1] As of April 19, 2007, this game is backwards compatible for the Xbox 360 /PC with a downloadable patch.[2]The game features some gameplay elements that resemble features in other first-person shooters, including Metroid Prime, and Halo. The heads-up display (HUD) in the game resembles the Metroid Prime helmet display and the player sees the world through visor. The usage of health and recharging shields, as well as the general combat gameplay, resemble styles seen in Halo. An unusua..

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is an action-adventure stealth game, developed and published by Ubisoft. Chaos Theory is the third game in the Splinter Cell series endorsed by writer Tom Clancy.

Handheld versions for the Nintendo DS and N-Gage have also been released. A version for the Game Boy Advance was planned, but later cancelled. Actor Michael Ironside reprised his role as Sam, while Don Jordan returned from the original game to voice Lambert, having been replaced by Dennis Haysbert in Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. The game went gold on March 22, 2005 for all platforms. Official Xbox Magazine considered Splinter Cell:

15. Second Sight - Oct 4, 2013 2:35:00 PM

While playing Second Sight, the latest entry in the burgeoning trend of mind games, I noticed one thing and pondered another. First, I noticed that I hadn't been so enthralled by the narrative of a supposed "action" game in months. And second, I wondered what took developers so long to incorporate psychic abilities into video games? To be fair, certain games have done it before, but never like this.
The Jedi Knight series has dibs on force powers and every RPG in history lays claim to magical abilities. Admittedly, some of these abilities overlap, like the lighting powers in Jedi Knight and lightning bolt spells in RPGs. What differentiates Second Sight from these other games is the way it takes superpowers and weaves them into the overall narrative of the game.

16. Doom 3 Ultimate - Oct 4, 2013 2:28:00 PM
Doom 3 is a science fiction survival horror first-person shooter video game developed by id Software and published by Activision. Doom 3 was first released for Microsoft Windows on August 3, 2004.[7] The game was later adapted for Linux, as well as being ported by Aspyr Media for Mac OS X. Developer Vicarious Visions ported the game to the Xbox console (now backwards compatible to the Xbox 360), releasing it on April 3, 2005. British developers Splash Damage also assisted in design for the multiplayer elements of the game.[1]
The game is a reboot of the Doom franchise, disregarding the storylines of the previous Doom video games. Doom 3 is set in 2145 on Mars, where a military-industrial conglomerate has set up a scientific research facility to research into fields such as teleportation,.

Cold War Pc is a realtime strategy game set in the historical period of the Cold War era from 1950 to 1973. In four campaigns you take control of the military forces of eight different nations (USA, Israel, Egypt, North-Korea, Great Britain/UNO, Syria, USSR and China). Some of the campaigns are non-linear which means that success or failure in some missions results in a different starting point and strength of military forces in the following mission. The israeli campaign is set against the backdrop of the arab-israeli war of 1956. Involved factions are Israel and Egypt. The egyptian campaign reflects the third arab-israeli war of 1973. 19. Need for Speed Most Wanted - Oct 4, 2013 1:59:00 PM
It's not quite the smooth, finely tuned speed machine it could have been, but Need for Speed: Most Wanted U is still an exciting racer Need for Speed: Most Wanted U takes its name and some of its concept from the 2005 game Need for Speed Most Wanted. Both games take place in open-world cities and involve plenty of police chases, but the earlier game contextualized its action with a hilariously over-the-top story about taking down a crew of illegal street racers. In the new Most Wanted, you still have the goal of defeating a number of street racers, but there's no narrative to back it up. The racers on your list are identified only by their cars--they don't have names or faces or personalities--and without ,more..gamespot.. skip 5 download free nfs most wanted

20. Need for Speed Carbon - Oct 4, 2013 1:52:00 PM
This year's version, Need for Speed Carbon, which refers to Carbon Canyon where racers duel for territory in the city below, is a minor shake-up for the series, shifting in new features, shifting out others, while continuing the FMV-heavy story-telling from Most Wanted. Carbon, in other words, is a decent update to last year's game with improved graphics, excellent Autosculpt customization, a different progression system, and an all-around solid take on the game. It's not revolutionary, it's not brilliant, but it's good, deep racing.
Carbon is an arcade-style racer that plays, in general, a lot like other Need for Speed games. It provides four camera perspectives (two in-car, two over-the-shoulder), a 10-14 hour single-player campaign, and a series of mini-challenges based on collecting racing cards. Hitman 2 puts you in the role of Agent 47, an assassin for hire, and sends you all over the world performing murders for hire. But things don't start like that. The hitman, codenamed 47, has had a change of heart and repented from his evil ways and is now living in a monastery. Without giving it away, circumstances call him back in to action.
For those of you who are just joining us,

Hired to kill for money, he travels to various locations around the globe performing a series of seemingly unconnected hits that gradually come together to form a larger picture. 22. Freedom Fighters - Oct 4, 2013 1:39:00 PM
Freedom Fighters, the Cold War never really happens. The USSR drops the first A-bomb to end WWII and basically runs things around the globe, culminating with a semi-covert invasion of the modern-day United States. We pick up the story of Christopher Stone, a mild-mannered plumber, on his way to fix a leaky pipe or two in Manhattan. Things take a turn for the worse when the lady with the leaky pipes turns out to be an outspoken anti-communist leader and you're knee-deep in the middle of the US-USSR conflict.
top-notch and every cutscene just reinforces the idea. The concept may have borrowed heavily from the film "Red Dawn" but the Russian invasion in Freedom Fighters is at least as believable as Patrick Swayze with a machine gun.more detalies..ign

23. Warcraft III Reign of Chaos - Oct 4, 2013 1:32:00 PM
Warcraft III is a real-time strategy game. Originally announced back in 1999 as a hybrid strategic role-playing game, over the course of its development, Warcraft III shed many of its role-playing pretensions and became what by all means is a true sequel to its predecessor. The game relies on many of the real-time strategy conventions you're probably familiar with by now. The goal of a typical skirmish is to start gathering resources (gold and wood), build up a base, build up a force of various units, and use that force to destroy the enemy's base and to repel any attacks against your position. You control the action primarily with a mouse by clicking on individual units and buildings or dragging boxes around groups of them, and you can also use predefined keyboard hotkeys to quickly perform some actions. So Warcraft III doesn't reinvent the wheel. more..gamespot

24. Terrorist Takedown 2 US Navy Seals - Oct 4, 2013 1:26:00 PM
Its one redeeming feature is that five percent of the game's proceeds will be donated to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.Terrorist Takedown promises to let you "push back against today's face of evil" by manning High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles or, as the military refers to them in a real mouthful of an acronym, HMMWVs. The game can best be described by another official military term: ALBTTTDTPIV--Another Lousy Budget Title That Thankfully Doesn't Take Place In Vietnam. The missions are incredibly easy, and some of them are comically short--a few clock in at less than two minutes. With a couple of bathroom breaks, the whole game will be over in about an hour and a half--or at least the first 14 missions will be. After 14 completely challenge-free levels, the game turns impossible with mission 15. In it, you control a missile turret on the ground, and your task is to..

25. IGI 2 - Covert Strike - Oct 4, 2013 1:19:00 PM

Ex-SAS soldier David Jones is once again a man with a mission: to infiltrate key airbases, harbors and secret government installations spread across Russia, Libya and into China. Set soon after the original Project IGI, this first-person shooter brings back key characters from the first game and places them in new situations and locations. Throughout three linked campaigns, Jones continues to rely on stealth, rather than firepower, to penetrate and destroy the enemy. Cunning and careful tactics are the name of the game.
You'll begin missions with a quick cutscene outlining why you're in the area and what you'll be doing. After that, you're dropped into place with your wits a couple of handy dandy toys to help you on your way. The first and foremost of these is the GPS map, a welcome return from Project IGI. With this satellite positioning map.
